The Rules Have Changed

As you can tell by my last post, I have decided to concentrate my blogging efforts back to this web-page, but things have changed.
As much as I have tried to shake it, I enjoy watching, reading about, and playing poker. It is a past time I thoroughly enjoy but I just have never been proficient (i.e. profitable) at. So I have decided to skew the original rules to more wholly encompass my poker play.
So this has officially become a poker blog with a twist. It will be taken from the standpoint of a novice (yours truly) attempting to climb the limits (starting from NLHE .01/.02 at Full Tilt Poker) and learn as much as possible about the game - both the math of the game and that sixth-sense(ish) call a bluff because his lips quivered, more mythical side of the game . I will have hand analysis that I hope will continue to be more insightful over the years; I plan to review different web resources and websites that provide other recreational players such as myself the ability to improve their play. I plan to research free resources first, and if my play and limits improve I will research those other technical resources that seem to cost an arm and a leg (I'm talking about you Poker Tracker!).

I hope you enjoy my posts as I try to up my novice game to something that I hope will someday earn me 1 million dollars...
Back to the rules. Previously I employed every asset available to bulk up my net worth as I worked my way up to 1 million. This time around its different. I plan to focus on my poker play with a small stake of only $20 dollars. If Jesus Ferguson could turn nothing into 10K (please see full tilt poker's website if you don't understand my reference)
So in essence there is only one rule - Make Money! There are only a few ways i plan to strive for this outcome now. I plan to do the typical day-to-day work and earn my paycheck which will be completley seperate from what I do here. Poker play, Ehow, blogging and anything other than my normal day-to-day business will count towards my goal. This is not about paying down debt anymore or about cutting my expenses. This is about learning to play poker and making 1 million cold hard cash. I hope someday I can achieve this seemingly insurmountable goal. Wish me luck!
